Costs Budgeting
We have the expertise to provide clarity within all aspects of the costs management process, to include preparation of the initial budget and subsequent budget negotiations / attendance at the Cost Management Conference.
Costs Management
In addition to providing advice in relation to costs budgets, we also work with clients to monitor and manage their legal expenditure.
Bills of Costs
We have extensive experience in preparing Bills of Costs enabling the maximum recovery of the costs sought. We also prepare Bills of Costs by phases, a requirement where a costs management order has been made or where budgets have been agreed.
Points of Dispute
and Replies
Our knowledge and experience enables us to prepare concise Points of Dispute and Replies which focus on the main and pertinent issues with a view to concentrating the minds of both our opponents and the Court on the issues to be resolved.
Court of Protection
We have experience in preparing both short form and detailed bills of costs for assessment, whether it be the costs of appointing a Deputy, the Deputy’s general management costs or the costs of a statutory will application.

Our aim is to provide a bespoke service and offer a wide range of services from routine advice on the preparation of Bills of Costs and Points of Dispute to the conduct of substantial cost assessments as well as undertaking budgeting and consultancy services.
The founder, David Wallis, started his career with City of London Law firm Herbert Smith before becoming independent in 1992. David was one of the first Costs Draftsman to qualify as a Costs Lawyer in 2007.
